Es scheinen alle ihre Kräfte für das Ostereiersuchen am Wochende oder aber das nahende Gallery Weekend zu schonen, denn diese Woche finden nicht sehr viele Eröffnungen statt. Dafür gibt es am Mittwoch im Salon Populaire ein weiteres Gastmahl mit philosophischer Fragestellung, diesmal dreht sich alles um das Thema "Liability". Am Donnerstag gibt dann es bei pro qm Gelegenheit, sich Gedanken zur Ästhetisierung der demokratischen Kultur zu machen, denn Juliane Rebentisch stellt dort im Gespräch mit Helmut Draller ihr Buch "Die Kunst der Freiheit" vor. Alternativ dazu lohnt sich auch ein Abstecher in die Alte Jakobstraße, wo Inka Schube, Leiterin der Fotografischen Sammlung des Sprengel Museum, in einem dialogischen Ausstellungsrundgang mit dem Direktor der Berlinischen Galerie über das Werk Boris Mikhailovs spricht.

It seems like everyone is saving their strength for their Easter egg hunt this weekend or the oncoming Gallery Weekend, because this week there are not that many openings. Instead, there is another dinner/philosophical evening taking place at Salon Populaire on Wednesday, this time dealing with "liability". On Thursday, we get the chance to think about the aestheticisation of democratic culture at pro qm, where Juliane Rebentisch presents her book "Die Kunst der Freiheit" ["The Art of Freedom"] in conversation with Helmut Draller. Alternatively, a quick trip to Alte Jakobstraße might be worth the effort: Inka Schube, head of the photographic collection of the Sprengel Museum and Thomas Köhler, director of the Berlinische Galerie, speak about Boris Mikhailov's work during a tour through the exhibition.
