Weekly Outlook

Last night was the preview for the The Tanks at TATE Modern. The fifteen-week festival which lasts from 18 July to 28 October 2012 will celebrate performance and installation art and the historical works that have shaped it. Also at Whitechapel Gallery this week on Thursday Clair Bishop talks about her new publication "Artificial Hells" and on Saturday William Mann argues the case for incrementalism in architecture and urban design, considering the making and remaking of the city and its buildings in "Architectural Talk: Piece by Piece". Don't miss Fridays previews of João Penalva's exhibition "The Prize Song" at Simon Lee Gallery.
