Artcards brings you to art April 27, 2010

Weekly Outlook

Saturday is the night to go out this week for art. My iternerary will be sure to include Susan Collis at Torrance Art Museum. I'm interested to see Susan's work in a new context after seeing her successful show at Volta NY in 2009. The next stops on my trip will be Las Cienagas Projects, Uta Barth at 1301 PE Gallery, and Chris Beas at Martha Otero. It's the inaugural show at Martha Otero (formerly named Otero Plassert), so the energy should be great and the show looks promising. Human Resources, a new performance space partly run by Dawn Casper, also has a opening this Saturday.

Hope to see you out there!
