Weekly Outlook
Art Platform Los Angeles and Pulse are art fairs launching for the first time in Los Angeles, the same weekend as Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945 - 1980, an unprecedented collaboration of more than sixty cultural institutions across Southern California, coming together to tell the story of the birth of the L.A. art scene. The events this weekend will not only showcase the biggest and the brightest galleries and museums in Los Angeles. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about non-profit and alternative spaces, such as Co/Lab at Art Platform, the Non Profit section at Pulse, and a highlighted thread of events connected to Pacific Standard Time, featuring a History of Art Spaces in Southern California. All you need now is a full tank of gas, some comfortable shoes and a pair of sunglasses. Welcome to art in Los Angeles. Cheers, Lee Foley Editor, Artcards Los Angeles Editor's Picks
