Happy Valentines Day from Artcards LA!

Tonight at the Hammer Museum, plan an unorthodox date to view Dirty Looks: Long Distance Love Affairs. This screening is framed as a series of love letters between East Coast and L.A. queer experimental filmmakers. There will be a a cash bar at 7pm and a discussion led by the filmmakers after the screening.

Then, express your romantic frustration, road rage and musical inclinations in Zefrey Throwell's Entropy Symphony Movement III, by honking your car horn for five consecutive minutes on February 15th, from 6:00 to 6:05pm. Sam Falls takes over this weekend with part-two of a dual solo exhibition at M+B Gallery and China Art Objects. The opening reception at M+B is this Saturday from 6-8pm. The exhibition features painted photographs, works on paper and sculptures that address, "a feeling of constant variables — like light and weather — as well as our relative experiences of time."
