Welcome to art in Los Angeles! This week is chock-full of performances, lectures, panel discussions, gallery and museum events. 

Must See >>> Requiem for the Sun: The Art of Mono-ha presents a museum scale survey of the postwar Japanese artistic phenomenon Mono-ha (School of Things). Blum and Poe this Saturday, 6-8pm.

In addition to the many gallery openings this week, the College Art Association will host its 100th annual conference at the LA Convention Center from February 22-25th. This international forum will bring together professionals in the visual arts through events such as lectures, performances, and a book and trade fair.
