This month the historical Arts District has been very exciting for fresh new shows, and Miami's Contemporary Museums are pulling out the big guns! MOCA, MAM and FIU's Frost Art Museum, to name a few, still have amazing shows up and there are more openings this weekend. Take a sneak peek or listen in on a lecture at MAM's "Between Here and There" Preview. If you missed the openings, the FIU's Frost Art Museum has a wide variety of artists currently on display. From Columbia's Maria Teresa Hincapie's performance work to a gender bending display "Women's Work / Men's Work: Labor and Gender in America," FIU has much to offer and admission is free.
 
If you would like to hit the pavement down in Wynwood and love live music and art making, check out "Art Battles [Miami]" -- Eazy Street Gallery is the first stop for this national tour. Show opens on February 27th!
