Weekly Outlook
Tonight Terry Winters speaks at the New York Studio School -- I've heard him before and this lecture will not disappoint. Wednesday night, Deitch Projects organizes a free public event at the New York City Opera. Thursday night, Deitch Projects opens Jules de Balincourt's show on Wooster street: this show will be packed but it will be worth it -- Jules is a local favorite and who knows how much longer Deitch will be open. Chelsea is also busy on Thursday, including a show at Max Protetch. Dumbo is having their "first thursday" event when all galleries in Dumbo stay open late. Friday looks like a high quality night -- a few Lower East Side shows, Postmasters / Casey Kaplan / Cheim & Read / Foxy / Peter Blum in Chelsea, and more in Williamsburg and Queens. Saturday also has a few shows worth checking out. If you missed going out last week, here are a few that you might want to revisit: Miki Carmi & Tamy Ben-Tor at Zach Feurer, Zilla Leutenegger at Perry Rubenstein, and Tomoo Gokita at ATM. As you can see, there is a lot going on -- hope to see you out there! Editor's Picks
