Weekly Outlook
I really like how this week is shaping up. One quick note first, if you are in San Francisco this week, check out the first major art fair to take place in the city for over a decade, and reply to this email if you want to join us for a private Artcards reception at the fair. Thursday is a good night to check out Chelsea, Friday night Williamsburg, and Sunday make the trip to Long Island City for "LIC Open Studios" and "Greater New York 2010" at P.S.1. On Wednesday, The American Art Fair (which I am just learning about -- have you been to it before?) is organizing a "Springtime Gallery Walk" on the upper-east side. Perhaps grouping opening events actually works if you look at the trend in the last few weeks. I tend to prefer nights where you make a trip and find one or two really great, deeply engaging shows and run into friends and interesting people. Grouping openings together too much can make each gallery less special, leaving the night somewhat more empty. I hope to see you at the shows this week! Editor's Picks
