Weekly Outlook
Last Thursday night showed increasing energy, especially in Chelsea. Ragnar Kjartansson opened at Luhring Augustine Gallery with an installation of paintings and a video, which should not be missed. For more pictures from opening night, read Helen Homan Wu's article on Artcards Review. Many good shows are spread throughout the week: Tonight Postmasters has an opening entitled "Defrosted: a life of Walt Disney"; Wednesday and Thursday are busy in Chelsea; Thursday galleries are open late in DUMBO (although not many new shows are opening); Friday, Pierogi in Williamsburg opens new shows; and, Saturday the Brooklyn Museum has their monthly "First Saturdays" event. Hope to see you out there, or on Facebook & Twitter ;) Editor's Picks
