New York
Artcards brings you to art June 29, 2010

Weekly Outlook

Last Thursday night showed increasing energy, especially in Chelsea. Ragnar Kjartansson opened at Luhring Augustine Gallery with an installation of paintings and a video, which should not be missed. For more pictures from opening night, read Helen Homan Wu's article on Artcards Review.

Many good shows are spread throughout the week: Tonight Postmasters has an opening entitled "Defrosted: a life of Walt Disney"; Wednesday and Thursday are busy in Chelsea; Thursday galleries are open late in DUMBO (although not many new shows are opening); Friday, Pierogi in Williamsburg opens new shows; and, Saturday the Brooklyn Museum has their monthly "First Saturdays" event.

Hope to see you out there, or on Facebook & Twitter ;)
