Weekly Outlook
It's summer in NYC and there is high energy and activity within the city's art scene; however, this week is also a great time to venture out beyond the city. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday there are events in Mount Tremper, Southhampton, Watermill, and Callicoon, NY. Perhaps the most intriguing of these events is "County Affair: Callicoon" organized by NADA. The event is located about 2 hours northwest of NYC. If you're looking to explore within the city, Christina Ray opens "Mission: Edition" with a public space treasure hunt. Locations will be announced via Foursquare. Add "MissionEdition" as your friend on Foursquare to participate. On Artcards Review: - Helen Homan Wu writes about last week's event on the Lower East Side: LUSH LIFE in Nine Chapters, Sixty Artists in Nine Galleries - Megan Seelie covers an interesting event in San Francisco: What Did They Want? Hope to see you out there! Editor's Picks
