Artcards brings you to art November 9, 2010

PINTA New York 2010
Weekly Outlook

It's cold out, so I am highlighting one night to go out: Friday. The night offers several events in the Lower East Side and Soho, including a group show curated by Rafael Rozendaal at Spencer Brownstone. In Chelsea I am most excited about Brandon Lattu's show at Leo Koenig (no press release was sent, but the invite card for "Reciprocity of Light" looks intriguing). See the latest in Latin American art at Pinta (2-8pm) in midtown. If you're uptown, check out the show at Alex Zachary. Williamsburg has several good shows including "Triple Fifty" a fundraiser at Badlands with 50 artist's works each $50 for a new non-profit gallery called B&AB;.

New on Artcards Review:

- "Artist in Focus: Pilvi Takala" by Helen Homan Wu
- "Pure Beauty at the Met" by Howard Hurst
- "Margaret Mead Film & Video Festival @AMNH"
- "HELP ME: Found Photos from the Collection of Gillian McCain"
- "Levi's Workshop Meets the Old Deitch"

Congrats to the winners of our Pinta New York 2010 Contest! Keep reading for more chances to win in the future.
