New York
Artcards brings you to art June 16, 2009

Weekly Outlook

A surpisingly full week, with more shows in Manhattan, and few new alternative spaces (on Thursday in Brooklyn: "The Sum and All Parts" and "Dancing!" organized by Apartment Show). Apartment Show hosts shows at various apartments and locations. This Thursday they bring it to Tommy's Tavern in Greenpoint -- all of their events I have been to have been crowded and great. Also on Thursday, Marianne Boesky Gallery opens up the rooftop for Paula Hayes's show "Excerpts from the story of Planet Thear" -- a promising show and if the NY Times Slide Show is any indication, the rooftop should be interesting in itself. Hope to see you out there!
