Weekly Outlook
Armory Arts Week 2012 is about to start and we could not be more excited! An amazing number of art fairs and satellite events will be invading New York City to bring you the latest and the best of the art world. Artcards in conjunction with our partner Opalnest are bringing you an event of our own: Editquette, a performance of live drawing, collaging and post-rock with artists Hiraku Suzuki from Tokyo, Julien Langendorff from Paris and composer Loren Connors from NYC at Printed Matter. Make sure you come visit us this Saturday for an evening of experimental music, new media and performance right in the heart of Chelsea. Also, our dearest friends at the Invisible Dog Art Center are bringing you a whole weekend of events which includes the openings of Distorting (A Messiah Project 13C), Daniel Horowitz’s 365 and The Artists of The Invisible Dog, as well as their Artists Open Studios event this Saturday and Sunday. A busy week for sure, so plan ahead. Not only the fairs will be happening, but galleries and art spaces will be open until late at night. Many will be featuring local artists as well as programming of video screenings and performances. See you at the fairs! Editor's Picks
