Frieze and NADA inaugurate groundbreaking fairs in New York this week. Make sure to visit both, as they will have extremely different programs and events to offer; from commissioned projects to the entire program of talks and lectures that Frieze has prepared at Randall's Island. Pulse will be stationing at the Metropolitan Pavilion and will feature its own lineup of established galleries. After the fairs, head downtown this weekend for an entire schedule of events part of Frieze Downtown Night and late night parties such as "Downtown After Hours" at Santos and "Nein Pop" by Artists Space. As for Brooklyn, "seven@SEVEN" at The Boiler and "E-Vapor-8" at 319 Scholes seem extremely promising. Please note that as it usually occurs during fairs, a large number of galleries in Chelsea, Soho and the LES will be open until late. Other fairs this week include PooL, Verge and Red Dot.
