The fall season of exhibitions has finally arrived. From major established galleries to new art initiatives and spaces, this is the beginning of the most exciting time of the year in New York, as everybody will be opening new shows within the next couple of weeks.

Activity will concentrate in the Lower East Side during Wednesday. Thursday will be the busiest this week with major shows, retrospectives and new works by leading artists all around Chelsea. As for the weekend, the entire city will be bustling with events both downtown and in Chelsea, as well as in Williamsburg and Bushwick in Brooklyn.

A seriously overwhelming number of events will keep us motivated and stimulated. Pick your favorite galleries, your favorite artists or your favorite neighborhood and you will find unexpected pieces, cutting-edge work and a fresh new season.
