Weekly Outlook
Judging by the number of art openings this week the NYC art scene is taking a break for Thanksgiving. If you're heading down to Art Basel Miami Beach this year (Dec 3-6), use our simple guide to create your personal list and map! While the openings are slow, this week is a good chance to see museums: at MoMA Tim Burton's show just began while "Bauhaus 1919-1933" and "Monet's Water Lillies" continue to be on view; the Guggenheim has a panel discussion with James Rosenquist tonight (Tuesday) at 6:30pm; and Whitney (which has a new website that offers an improved user experience but still not as fully developed as MoMA's site) is now showing Georgia O'Keeffe, Roni Horn, Alice Guy Blache, and the final week for "Steve Wolfe on Paper" (through Nov. 29). Cheers to all the great art shows and events past, present, and future -- Happy Thanksgiving! Editor's Picks
