Weekly Outlook
This week starts out in the dumps, but the best kind. "Art at the Dump," a show opening tomorrow at Intersection for the Arts, which shows highlights of the innovative artist residency that takes place at the SF dump. Friday's highlights include an opening and flat file launch at Triple Base, a California re-interpreted show at Park Life, and another installment of David Wilson's "Gatherings/ Matrix 233" at the Berkeley Art Museum with a L@TE presentation titled SLEEP. SLEEP at the museum was never so fun until Liz Harris (Grouper) came to town. She will "contour her sonic craft to the spiraling space of the museum, creating a site-specific composition made up of tape-collage and live instrumentation accompanied by video." Enticing! Saturday follows with some hot group shows and a lecture at ATA on Shakespeare's influence on Bollywood! And, this week marks the launch of Artcards Review's Featured Artist series with a profile of Kevin Cyr. Enjoy! Editor's Picks
