Weekly Outlook
As wummer (winter in summer) wraps up here in the Bay, all minds and art events are building for a hot fall. In the meantime, Southern Exposure showcases their summer youth program on Wednesday with capable artist/critic Matthew Rana at the helm. Adobe Books Backroom Gallery lands the interesting and currently ubiquitous Sean McFarland on Saturday. I made it to the Creative Growth opening last week and it is a really special show with work from international artists in addition to the Creative Growth roster. I would recommend passing by if you are in Oakland and they have a cute new line of clothing merchandise. Creativity Explored has their opening in SF this Thursday. Artcards Review looks at Sonny Smith's "100 Records," a show that originated in SF and is now in Brooklyn, read it here. And... Our colleagues at Daily Serving have reviewed SF show at Baer Ridgeway "It's My World" check it out here. See you at the shows. Editor's Picks
