First Thursday comes to the downtown gallery scene with a healthy dose of new shows. More of a weekend warrior: Friday night looks hot with the "Sixth Street Art Walk." Southern Exposure rolls out a exciting summit called "ART PUBLISHING NOW," which highlights all types of art publishing coming out of the Bay Area. San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery host's "Passport 2010" on Sunday, which "takes participants on a neighborhood stroll to collect artist-designed “passport stamps” in a special booklet that, once complete, becomes a limited-edition art book with original work by some of the Bay Area’s finest artists, both established and emerging."
