Artcards brings you to art October 19, 2010

Weekly Outlook

A tremendous week ahead of these shows and many more:

On Thursday catch Mads Lynnerup's show, "The Entire Exhibition Will Be Worn" at Baer Ridgway Exhibitions. The work promises to be conceptual and witty, commenting on politics, economics, culture and social perception. Let him demonstrate how "He Loves NY More Then You Do" (2007/8).

Friday offers an interesting show at Mission: Comics & Arts of Joslyn Doerge's "Meat Market," where the artist's illustrations explore erotic attraction, conceptions of beauty, and fleshy meat without it's skin. Deeper into the Mission, Triple Base presents a smashing triple show.

Lastly, Sight School is hosting the second installment this Saturday of "Re-Imagine| Re-Build| Repeat," where two artists, Kelly Lynn Jones and Brandon Walls Olsen, exchange and/or follow instructions, while their individual responses make the show.

Meanwhile SF Open Studios continue, go to ArtSpan.org for more info.
