Weekly Outlook
Special Note: Welcome to new readers from our table at the NADA Art Fair. You are on the list for San Francisco. If you would like to switch cities, update your profile: http://artcards.cc/email/?p=preferences&uid;=073c112da4ae9671be9481131361bab7 SF readers, looking for some post work fun tonight, you can go to the YBCA for a new hybrid art event hosted by Berlin-based Peruvian artist Gabriel Acevedo Velarde called "Talk that turns into a Party." Electric Works gallery hosts local literary darling Believer Magazine's much appreciated (by me) Art Issue release party on Thursday. Also, Thursday, back at the YBCA for a lecture in relation to the Nina Beier: What Follows Will Follow ll show. On Friday, I suggest running between Triple Base, SF Center for the Book, Southern Exposure, the newly minted Romer Young (formerly Ping Pong Gallery), and Swarm for a non-stop art opening party. After that warm up, Saturday will be a snap. Start at The Lab's unique benefit, The Postcard Show, continue to Jancar Jones, and finish at Important Projects. For the cool down, head to the Berkeley Art Museum for a casual Matrix Opening for Emily Roysdon on Sunday afternoon. Have Fun! PS: Galleries and artists, it is very easy to add images to your listing. Just hit the "submit your event" button on the top of the website.
