As we navigate through holiday cheer, vacations, and stay-cations, there are some enticing prospects for those able and willing to sneak in another art event or very special rock show before the new year.

Some likely targets include: Fivepoint Arthouse's show with Chris Russell among others, Hosfelt's new show and accompanying panel discussion, and an atmospheric solo show at Silverman Gallery.

The rock show in question is the pet project of one, CansaFis Foote, the most enthusiastic musician and music curator I know. The show is Santafriends Live 2010 playing at the Pacific Coast Brewing Co in Downtown Oakland and promises to be a holiday experience never to forget.
