Weekly Outlook
There is a great week ahead for art lovers. Tomorrow, if you are in SF, catch SF Arts Commission Gallery's lunch time lecture. In the evening, the East Bay will be hopping with two openings at UC Berkeley Worth Ryder Galleries, and our sponsor Sight School's opening event of their new lecture series. On Thursday, Carter and Nayland Blake opens at Gallery Paule Anglim, while Oakland's Pro Arts Gallery continues their 2 x 2 Solo series with Michelle Blade and Taro Hattori. Friday NOMA Gallery has a novel art opening, which includes a sleepover (although you have to rsvp to attend that portion, the opening from 9-11pm is open to all). Saturday there is too much going on to list everything that I would recommend, so you are on your own on that (meaning review the Saturday portion of this email). Good luck, and see you out there! ----------------- New on Artcards Review: - "Featured Artist: Andrew Guenther" by Carissa Pelleteri - "Anywhere But Canada" by Cielo Lutino - "Lower East Side Gallery Walk" by Helen Homan Wu - "Jose Parla: Walls, Diaries, and Paintings" by Howard Hurst Editor's Picks
