San Francisco
Artcards brings you to art March 15, 2011

Weekly Outlook

Artcards PSA from deputy Michael Pakes:
Sat down for dinner in a pizza place on Sunday night with the family.  A cow caught my eye immediately; bold, beautiful colors, the cow's face looking at me, I looking at the cow.  The image was humorous and warm, the canvas a compliment to the brick wall.  Throughout dinner I admired the cow from afar.

Didn't expect to find a cow at a pizza joint, but that's one of the reasons San Francisco and the Bay Area is such a great place to live: quality art in even the most unexpected places.

Morpheus: "The Matrix is everywhere, it is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window, or you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes."

In a different world Morpheus would have said 'Art' instead of 'The Matrix.'

Get out there and find that cow or check out some of the shows listed below.  You will not be disappointed.
