Weekly Outlook
Many interesting events, workshops, and openings this week on either side of the Bay. I am personally excited about Jim Melchert, John Roloff show at Gallery Paule Anglim, since I discovered an old but stellar poster of Melchert's on the street in Berkeley that now hangs on my wall. Some other highlights include the following: Wednesday The Kadist Arts Foundation, is continuing an excellent run of Wednesday shows with Jan Peter Hammer, Superflex curated by Apsara DiQuinzio. Thursday The Museum of Craft and Folk Art art is showing Korean folk tradition of pieced textiles for everyday use or ceremonial purposes with their "Wrapping Traditions: Korean Textiles Now" curated by Chunghie Lee. Friday Learn the dirt on Gutenberg from a lecture at San Francisco Center for the Book. You have to love you local alternative space: Maggie Foster "Plan B®" at Sight School, Oakland. Read through the list to find the right event for you! Editor's Picks
