Welcome to SUMMER TIME and a fresh batch of interesting art events this week. Oakland's Creative Growth and Maniac Gallery have hot openings on Thursday and Friday respectively. San Francisco's Catharine Clark Gallery and San Francisco Art Institute open vibrant group shows on Saturday. The Lab launches an action-packed 25th Anniversary Performance Series this Thursday.
