This week in art happenings:

A unique funding opportunity, The Alternative Exposure Grant, has a deadline that  is fast approaching. Learn more about it in the second of three info sessions held by Southern Exposure, this one in the East Bay at Royal Nonesuch Gallery, tomorrow at 6pm.

Art and life will align in a special way this weekend for an art show of prisoner art on the historic island prison Alcatraz. Titled "Images from Inside" and hosted by The National Park Service and We Players in collaboration with Prison Arts Project at Alcatraz Cell House Gallery.

Also, check out the multiple enticing happenings at these spaces Krowswork, The Lab, and the Berkeley Art Museum.
