San Francisco
Artcards brings you to art April 10, 2012

Weekly Outlook

Though the number of openings around the bay is a little light, its still an exciting week in the arts. New spaces keep popping up, like Sherwood Gallery in SF. Sherwood's inaugural show, "Nothing is True. Nothing is Untrue" opened last week, and Alter Space's opening group show includes favorites like Michelle Blade and Bean Gilsdorf.

This is also the week of San Francisco Art Institutes's graduate open studios; CCA's had many impressive artists, we're excited to familiarize ourselves with '12 and '13's grads

Note

There are new editors to this little project, Jackie Im and Aaron Harbour. They hope to grow Art Cards, producing and soliciting more critical, fun, engaging content. To help in this regard, please let us know what you are looking for in an arts website. We're doing our best to keep events and exhibitions listed accurately for you, but also we'd like to be another resource for the Bay Area art scene.

For a start, as of next week we'll include a few reviews from Harbour's Facebook critique blog 'Curiously Direct' where helpful as aides in suggesting what we feel are some of the strongest exhibitions. Do you have ideas for more content? Would you like to read/write book reviews on here? Movie reviews? Interviews?
