Weekly Outlook
Two notes this week. One, this Friday at Eli Ridgway Jacqueline Gordon's first solo show with the gallery opens, and I'm excited about it. Recently relocated to Los Angeles, Gordon's sound themed works will be exciting to see translated into a commercial gallery format. Its certainly one of our picks here at Art Cards. Two, and this one is self serving as I am involved, House Show is closing on Friday with a release of a small catalogue documenting in a loose way what will have been a very great project to have been associated with. In the show, many of the rooms of a house in west Oakland have been transformed into small exhibitions, and all involved are quite proud of it, if a little unsure about the result. For more info go to: http://shedprojects.org/ Curiously Direct Picks The shows I'd most recommend (besides those above) I haven't written about yet, but I highly suggest going to Paule Anglim for John Hiltunen's show (mentioned here last week) and Visible Horizons at the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery with work by Rhonda Holberton, Chris Duncan and Andrew Chapman.
