Artcards brings you to art October 13, 2009

Weekly Outlook

This week: a couple hot artist talks, a festival for documentaries at the Roxie Theater, a festival for Futurism with participating spaces all over town, the finale of the LitQuake Festival with an impressive LitCrawl, and, most excitingly, the Grand Opening of Southern Exposure in their new space!

Mark Dion (who is speaking on Thursday at CCA) and Candice Breitz (who is speaking Monday at UC Berkeley, and at SF MoMA later this month) give engaging presentations of their vital and relevant work.

For the foodie-art lovers out there, OPENfuture, a performance and edible event at SF MoMA, promises to deliver -- if you can handle the hefty price.
