Artcards brings you to art October 20, 2009

Weekly Outlook

Full week is putting it lightly. There are many exciting choices this week and my picks are as follows: Aesthletics at the Lab; curator Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev talks at CCA; Jacqueline Gordon at Queen's Nails; all the SF Arts Commission's events (Bayview Opera House Fall Open Studios, Passport 2009, and Art in Storefronts); and finally ATA Film & Video Festival 2009 which is presenting hot line-ups this Thursday and Friday (among the artists are Martha Colburn with her unforgettable Myth Labs).

Oh, most importantly, you can catch great video artist Omar Fast talking about his new MATRIX piece at The Berkley Art Museum.

Good luck!
