San Francisco
Artcards brings you to art April 30, 2013

Weekly Outlook

What to see? There are certainly openings… its MFA season again, with shows at San Jose State on Friday and Mills on Saturday. And Tim Sullivan at Steven Wolf sounds fun.

But there are shows about to close that deserve a visit if you (or I) have missed them so far. A pair closing on Saturday: the results of Maggie Haas’ residency at the Lab, the excellent Never Finished, and Christopher Badger’s Lunar Mirror at Jessica Silverman. Haas’ show is both site specific and familiar to her practice, an intersection of craft and architectural materials and methods. I’ve yet to see Badger’s show; the install shots on Jessica Silverman’s website look very impressive.
