Weekly Outlook
Its excellent to be checking the email here at Art Cards and see not one, but two spaces we’ve never heard of submit show information. One, in Albany, has been around for at least a year while the other will be having its first event. I rarely venture to Albany, usually to go bowling, and am excited to make it over sometime to see Little Big Space. The space looks great in photographs and I’m as curious to see it and meet the proprietors as I am to see the show opening this soon, Maybe Forever, a solo show of work by Mia Christopher. The new show opens October 12th, from 3-6pm. C2C Project Space (at 1695-18th St, SF), is a venture of bi-coastal artist Kirk Stoller, and “will invite an artist from NYC to come to San Francisco and pair him/her with a Bay Area artist to see what the duo creates. The project will provide a unique space that will focus on similar and contrasting approaches in their work, allowing ideas from the two coasts to merge and collide.” The first show pairs Vince Contarino and Zachary Royer Scholz and opens October 19th.
