San Francisco
Artcards brings you to art November 17, 2009

Weekly Outlook

A flurry of activity before the holiday calm seems to be in store for the Bay Area this week.

On Thursday
, the downtown galleries roll out classic, yet hip, artists including: John Cage, Tom Marioni, and Dorothea Tanning. McSweeney's simultaneously launches their treatise on the expanding field of text in art with a new book, "More Things Like This" at Park Life.

Catch the newest addition to the "Art in Storefronts" series on Friday, hosted by organizing forces of the project Triple Base and San Francisco Arts Commission.

Saturday offers several notable young, hot, and (mostly) San Francisco-based artist shows at Baer Ridgway; double punch; and the CCA Wattis Institute's Capp Street Project by Abraham Cruzvillega, which will bring to life a homemade vehicle parade.
