Weekly Outlook
Its almost 5pm December 31st so you may not catch this email, depending on the extent of your revelry, until later this week. What a year! I'm still struggling to finish all of 2013's projects and haven't had a chance to look back and assess what happened in our little slice of art world. Music, I've a handle on... there were a ton of great releases, but art, well, we'll see if I can't sort out some highlights next week. Some spaces aren't wasting any time, holding openings this weekend, holiday-hangovers and travels be damned. I'm curious about (though I'm unsure what to expect) a group show opening at Aggregate Space, and will try to make it over to the opening at Greg Lawson Gallery. The Greg Lawson Gallery show will feature Jacob Melchi's paintings; though I'm unfamiliar with them a quick peek online suggests I'll like these in person. I've only visited this gallery once in its current location, but among the exhibitions at the new Potrero galleries the show I saw was the most exciting. What did you like from this last year? Highlights/lowlights? Things you are looking forward toin 2014? Send me a message and I'll be sure to include your choices in next week's email. Editor's Picks
