Weekly Outlook
There is a lot of great art up around town right now, from Ruby Neri's excellent ceramics at Stephen Wirtz, to the shows at Altman Siegel and Paule Anglim mentioned last week, to Chris Fraser's outstanding show at Highlight which will be up through the 31st. This week i'm looking forward to two events with seemingly endless lists of artists. Ever Gold is holding its 5 Year Anniversary Show, a group show with more artist than could possibly fit into the gallery, all organized and hung for what will be only a three day show. And at YBCA, their new monthly ConVerge series will bring New Year's Collaborative Works, with ArtCards favorites such as Double Zero (Annie Vought & Hannah Ireland) Christopher Füllemann, Bailey Hikawa, Chris Duncan and James Cordas performing new live works. Both these shows promise sensory overload and plenty of good work. Editor's Picks
