A busy first Thursday and Friday in the Bay... It must be said: SF: don't hold openings on First Friday please! Oakland has a little First Friday thing... it's hard enough to get folks to cross the Bay without conflicting events making it easier to stay in the west bay. So, please make quick stops at Jason Jägel's show at Gallery 16 and the excellent looking White Hot Lamp Black at Southern Exposure and then head east to the reception for Margo Wolowiec's Following at Johansson Projects. Oh, and we recommend that you check out the show opening Saturday at Et al. ... a major conflict of interest, but yes, we suggest you go. Editor's Picks
