Weekly Outlook
NOTE:::: We've mostly migrated to CURIOUSLY DIRECT but will keep these emails going for the time being, though we've stopped editing the calendar. Please SUBSCRIBE to CURIOUSLY DIRECT DIRECT if you'd like more up to date informations :) Thanks for a good first couple months of Curiously Direct Direct, on the web site we're planning a few things for 2015 including some writing about the year in music and the return of Questionnaire. Back long ago (2013), 36 artists answered a short set of interview questions which were recorded by myself and Jackie Im. Take a listen, and let me know if you would like to answer some questions. We've a few we never put out, and some answers to the questions we posed on this platform recently; after those, we may change the questions a bit (Im's suggestion - Questionnaire 2: Judgement Day) As for this week, despite the proximity to Christmas, there are ton of recommended things on the agenda below. I would like to double-recommend the talk at di Rosa, especially if you have yet to see the excellent show there. If you do plan on driving up there, a suggestion: Stop by a new small space run by artist Matthew Kerkhof called Lost in Translation. There between 4:30 and 6:30 you'll see the opening of their second exhibition, Artifact, a solo show of new work by Minneapolis-based Joe Krasean (go HERE for more info) Located in Vallejo, it'll be hard for you to get to this exciting new space without the motivation of something like the di Rosa, so make an afternoon of it maybe :) Editor's Picks
