New York
Artcards brings you to art August 31, 2010

Weekly Outlook

Anticipation builds as we head into September on the cusp of the busiest weeks of the year in the NYC art world. This year my normal excitement is mixed with slight trepidation -- where did the summer go? The new season is coming and Artcards is here to get you the best info and sort through the hundreds of invitations and press release so you don't have to.

This week has a steady flow of events mostly at smaller or emerging spaces. We all will be conserving our energy for next week, but this is still a great time to enjoy the near-perfect weather and see some less-crowded shows.

On Artcards Review, I am excited to introduce two new articles:
- "Featured Artist: Miles Mendenhall" -- Helen Homan Wu catches up with one of the stars of Bravo's "Work of Art" series.
-  "Paradise Now! Art Meets Music on the Lower East Side" -- Howard Hurst covers an awesome event along with great photos.

Hope to see you out there, either this week or next!
